A very solid summer preparation with high-quality matches (Bruges, Galatasaray..). A game plan nearly identical to the end of last season with a 4141/4231 setup. Valentin Rongier in front of the defense and Estéban Lepaul up front are the pillars of this system. The arrival of experienced and quality players like Thomasson, Soumaré, Mayenda and Charlie Cresswell in particular brings real added value to this team which will compete on 3 fronts this season with the EUROPA LEAGUE. We can still observe during these friendly matches numerous defensive errors often punished by an opposing goal. Brice Samba will undoubtedly be the last line of defense this year and will be backed up by Nicolas Lemaître freshly arrived from Troyes. We can also expect the arrival of at least 1 new signing (especially in attack). Some departures could also happen. The name Martin Terrier has notably been associated with the club during this transfer window.
