Here's what the Angers lineup could look like this season. I didn't include Belkhdim who has an exit clause. For now the team is playing in a 4-4-2 setup during preseason, but if a three-centerback defense were to return, Louër would have his place in the XI. We'll see if the transfer window gets busy (Ekomié's possible departure, etc)
Key players
Lopes has the heavy task of replacing Koffi. Lefort and Camara are solid, and will need a full season to help the club The midfield pairing Belkebla - Van den Boomen is interesting Up front Sbaï is still a good player, but he gets lost too often in his decisions, which could be a problem for him under Gilli El Ouazzani needs to prove he can be a starter in Ligue 1
Players to watch
Simbakoli is having a very strong preseason and will be one to monitor. Harouna already showed he was talented last year, but this year could have a different role. Bermont comes to gain playing time and bring competition, something that was lacking last year. Bouffandeau and Jildi (if he doesn't leave) could get minutes in the rotation At the back, Louër and some young academy prospects could also get chances (Maël Gernigon perhaps?)
